Goalkeeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): His team were close to being trailing by six at Bournemouth without him. Massive moment, delivered and demonstrated some quality. Superb shot-stopping to secure a 2-2 draw. A loss would have damaged their whole season.

Defensive unit

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's in the running for top performer. Many discuss Arsenal's squad. He has been the top performer by far.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a mad supporter to say 'Murillo nets and we defeat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You could have gotten huge prices on that. He performed brilliantly. He is turning into a dominant figure. He is truly a handful. Pleased to observe his form like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him several occasions the previous season in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties due to errors. Yet now he's been a monster. He's been great strength and powerful and appears graceful. It appears he has secured a perfect fit.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a defender, rather a modern type in attack. He has proven to be a great purchase for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them finding another gem unexpectedly? I thought when they got rid of Pervis Estupinan that was strange but Brighton know more than us.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Similar players and they make it for the same reason. Their sides were victorious, many mention the scorers, but lacking these players the sides struggle. They excel. They disrupt opposition, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The man of the moment. Numerous supporters, like my child, expressed skepticism whether he was the man to secure victory. Three strikes in the north London derby and currently fans desire to make a statue of him. Scoring, calmness, he dominated. The standout individual on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Possibly the only point of agreement with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it is extremely tough to leave him out. My view was he had a great start to the season, I believe he was a little bit entitled and thought he maybe secure a transfer to Chelsea, and probably wanted that, but he has found his footing. Two superb finishes obviously against Leeds helped his club from a deficit. He proved decisive.

Strikers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he appeared not his normal self. He looked like he was slower. But wow. That's all I can say. He performed superbly. Outstanding in his movement and in his dual goals.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He excels, usually better as a substitute, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he must start. He squandered a great opportunity against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. However showing the mental fortitude to enter into tough scenarios and get a brace was great.

Manager

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He arrives and outperforms Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. It could have been five or six for Forest and few would dispute.
