Yet, based exclusively on the titles headed to the service in 2026, it is apparent that Xbox continues to plan to engage players with strong games on its premier subscription.

A pair of titles you can play right now at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass over the next few weeks that's worth getting excited about.

On Jan. 13, Game Pass will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that breaks up the standard Ubisoft formula with a space-faring criminal escapade. Another big get is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review called "a superb mixture of terror and combat."
Noteworthy Smaller Games
But even the smaller games set to join the catalog are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, the criminally overlooked roguelike offering thrilling gameplay, becomes available next week β and you should try it regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by Rebellion Developments, is also a game to check out. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine β Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.

Ultimately, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, and they are also not first-party juggernauts that justify the service alone. However, this batch of games are very dependable. The lineup provides a solid mix of older titles you may have skipped and fairly new titles that lacked the recognition they deserved the first time around β which makes them excellent choices to get a second chance on Game Pass.
