Air travel have recommenced at Edinburgh Airport following a substantial ATC system failure brought the international hub to a standstill.
All aircraft movements were suspended because of an systems problem that occurred at about 08:30.
Several flyers reported being stuck in aircraft on the tarmac during the disruption.
Flights Resume with Residual Impact
Officials announced at 10:40 that flights had resumed, and thanked passengers for their "understanding and cooperation".

An airport representative had initially projected that a significant number of movements could be affected.
